The Military Orders, religious groups with a military character, were a medieval phenomenon that, surprisingly, has re-emerged in the human sphere with a force comparable to its heyday. Providing additional fighting strength to the PanOceanian army and subject to the PanOceanian High Command, they enjoy a degree of autonomy and are distinguished by their assault tactics reminiscent of the bloodier times of the past.
